Our rates change depending on the location where we fish; please contact us for specific rates on our guided trips.
If you book a guided trip with us, we provide all of the fly fishing equipment needed for the day.
You can fish lots of places in Iowa. Make sure to get out and explore; that's half of the fun!

Yes, if you are fishing in Iowa, even on a guided trip, you need to purchase a fishing license from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. If you are going on a full day trip for Trout, you additionally need to purchase a trout stamp in Iowa.
You can purchase a fishing license at your local sporting goods store or at the following website:

We will provide a fly rod and reel for you to use, as well as all other fishing gear you will need for the trip.
You should bring:
Water
Sunscreen
Appropriate clothing (pants are a good option for walking through brush)
Sunglasses
Fishing license
While I do not sell fly fishing gear, our local Des Moines Fly shop has fantastic service and will get you set up with any fly fishing gear you need.

We are an official LLC, licensed to operate in the state of Iowa, and we are also fully insured.
Yes, we do guided fishing trips for trout. These trips require a little more driving and are only a part of our full-day guide trip option. You will also need to have proper licensing from the Iowa DNR to fish for trout in Iowa (trout stamp + fishing license).
