Another Season Recap (2025)

2025 was a fantastic season for us, and it seems like things get better and better each year. Despite dealing with some high flows in this year, the water recharge seemed to benefit many of our fisheries and produce some great fishing throughout the year. Here are some highlights.

Money raised for nonprofits
ree

We are proud to have raised over $500 through donations to conservation and nonprofit organizations. While this amount isn't going to change the world, we are proud to partner with multiple organizations in their pursuit of positive outcomes for our ecosystems in Iowa and beyond.

species variety

We caught over 20 unique fish species this season. One of the incredible aspects of Iowa fisheries is the unique diversity of having the Mississippi and Missouri River systems bordering our state, bringing dozens and dozens of fish species to our Iowa rivers and streams.

New anglers Introduced to Fly Fishing

Even as we see the post-COVID boom of recreation starting to decline, the interest in fly fishing throughout Iowa continues to be on the rise. This is a fantastic opportunity to show others the beauty of the outdoors and our natural spaces. We take out lots of different individuals and couples on our outings, and it's a joy to see them all finding enjoyment in fly fishing and the outdoors.

More Familiar Faces

Having built relationships with some great people over the years means that we get to keep enjoying outings with people year after year. This year was no different.
