Fishing Report (4/3/2022)

Saylorville: Great spot for bird watching! Hopefully fish will be moving more as temperatures increase.

Big Creek: Water temperatures are in the 42-43 degree range. Walleye bite should be getting better, but we all know that those walleye can be tough to find.

Local Ponds: Water temperatures are rising and rain has added some water to our local ponds, and fish are starting to become more active. Still worth trying slower, deeper presentations.

Des Moines River: Flows have fluctuated lately, but not significantly. Reports of some walleye being caught at usual spots, as well as some crappie, buffalo, carp, and a few catfish.

-Flow (below Saylorville): 1740 cfs (as of 4/3/2022)

-Flow (below Red Rock): 3700 cfs (as of 4/3/2022)
